Cool house! I would paint EVERYTHING that is currently painted Black Fox by Sherwin Williams. A deep brown/ black that will be dramatic and make the brick look intentional, it will also be a nice backdrop for the wood deck and landscaping

I was going to say Urbane Bronze, but Hallett had a similar idea. I'd go dark.

I like these grays with your brick.

I would try a blue Gray for painted items.

Benjamin Moore Raccoon fur is a nice charcoal with a blue tint to it.

I guess I didn't say that I am trying to deemphasize the brick. Not sure if you can tell from the photo but they are Roman style bricks, lacking the interesting dark colors and white stain of more traditional flat brick. It seems like blues and greys would make those bright pink and orange tones pop. My original thinking was white with dark accents. But I do like the dark exterior colors that are popular now. I worry that the dark colors will just make the bright pink/orange really stand out. Ultimately I guess I am looking for the house to look fresh without changing the good bones that it has. I am trying to embrace the look of the brick. Someone want to talk about how to tone down the brick without painting it?

Add some closer photos of your brick, in the sun and shade.

I'd try one of the grayed greens shown above. You won't have the strong contrast against the brick that you would get with a very dark color.

Closer photos of both the house and specifically the brick. Your paint options either blend with the brick or contrast it. In either case, doing something different will help but we need better photos of the uniqueness of your brick. Perhaps the suggested photos aren’t working for you because we are assuming the brick has a certain look.

Paint the brick charcoal, change the siding to cedar.

changing the roof first would be helpful, as it makes sense to take the new colour into consideration when choosing further exterior colours.

the farther you move from the same hue family as the brick, the more the brick colour will be emphasised.

choosing siding/trim from the same hue family neighbourhood as the brick will help lessen visual contrast.

Playing with doing a mock up to help you visualize what I see in my mind’s eye. I put a “Weathered Wood” multi brown/gray shingle on your roof. Can’t quite see it but you get the idea. I painted siding SW Tempe and did soffit and down spots in SW French Roast. This color palette compliments the brick and draws the eye away from the brick. I also put bronze windows in and simulated that with the French Roast. I stained deck with matching French Roast stain for continuity of all elements. With your beautiful natural setting I think this would look gorgeous. Enjoy.

White trim and dark siding will emphasize all the wrong parts and will make the brick more of a feature. Painting the whole composition a dark color from the brick will actually make the brick less prominent. I guess I also like your brick… I was driving though a 1950s neighborhood last night and there was a ranch built from your brick with dark brown trim, I will try to grab a photo when it stops raining (which could be weeks judging by the forecast)
