I will second NEON FLAMINGO. It is a wonderful color and is a moderate increaser. This was taken early in the morning. Later in the day the day the petals fold back a bit more and the watermark really shows. It is really gorgeous when multiple blooms are open.

NEON RAINBOW: I like the interesting color of this bloom. I love the applique throat. It is slow to increase and bud count is about 10 and that is dangerously close to being not acceptable.

NEW COVENANT: I love this daylily. I love the color of this one. This is an accurate picture of the color. It seems to increase well and bud count is in the mid to upper teens.

NIGHT WINGS: One of the "blackest" if not the blackest in the garden. Is a real attention getter when multiple blooms are open.

NINE INCH NAILS: Well budded. Large blooms. I have grown to really love this one. When I first got into daylilies, I hated the strappy spiders and ufos. One of my dayliliy friends was really into spidery ones and would gift me plants every so often, so now I have an appreciation for them and like several of them. By the way, my friend is now into doubles, another form that I don't really like, and he plans on giving me some. We will see.

I am waiting for New Covenant to get established. With age, one becomes more impatient, not having three or even more years for something to show its worth (which I consider a small clump).

N's are scanter than M's. As for No Boys Allowed, I think that Debra's assessment is correct. The cultivar has been superseded by more recent Davissons, and bud count could be better.

Natty Man is showy and well budded.

Native Reflection is a shorter plant. Beautiful. Best in morning, which is typical for its color.

Navajo Warrior is a later bloomer.

Nobel, a Dougherty, is a beautiful cream with prominent veining.

Sherry, Neon Flamingo and Night Moves are really pretty.

David, Neon Flamingo, Night Wings [wow so dark] and 9" Nails are great.

Mantis, I really like Natty Moves and Native Reflection. So very beautiful.

North Wind Dancer is my only N and it is a great one. I moved it this year to get more sun so hopefully it won't lean so much.

On another note, my Snow Drops have been blooming for a few weeks.

I also agree about Neon Flamingo, I have only had it 2 years but has done well and such a great color. Night Moves is what I like best in a daylily. I have Neon Rainbow too, and that has done really well here. Increase has been pretty good too. Bud count is 10 to 13, but I have such a large clump of it that it is in bloom a long time. New Covenant is a really interesting color. Since I love Davissons, you know Natty Man is on my wish list. Native Reflection is another of that coloring I like, and seem to be getting too much of. I love the look too of North Wind Dancer, I have heard some who said it did not do as well for them. I need to check my Snow drops, I did notice they were up a while back but did not see bloom.

Navajo Pony did not do great last year, but usually blooms pretty well and rebloomed every year til last.

I agree about Neon Flamingo. Here it multiplies rapidly. Some years it has bud counts in the high teens, and other years only 9-10 buds. It has rebloomed here a few times, but is not a reliable rebloomer for me.

No Tomorrow was a new one that makes the list because of its pretty face. It is a short one though. Last year it was too hot to set seed with it.

Nile Princess doubles in fans each year, has buds in the mid teens here, and sometimes reblooms.

North Wind Dancer was one of my best performers last year with bud counts in the high teens.

Mantis - I'm glad to read you agree with my assessment of No Boys Allowed. It's very pretty in a clump and it multiplies well, but the bud count is always low. It was one of Judy's early registrations, and I agree her plants have improved in bud count and branching by leaps and bounds since then. Natty Man looks good!

Sherry - Last season was the worst in my 30 years of growing daylilies. Several daylilies did not bloom at all, and those that I did not water were very poor performers after the lack of rain in Spring and early Summer.

Debra, for the first time ever I also had several daylilies that didnt bloom at all, so disappointing. We wait all year for those blooms, wondering if I should say it couldn’t be worse.

I have not had Navajo Pony in a full-sized clump. Scapes have tended to lean in my smaller division.

In regard to Neon Flamingo, it is not in my experience high bud count. And I have seen someone else (Floota I believe) note this. I was happy this past season to get nine buds, though not on every scape. People often report bud count on the highest-count scape, ignoring the number of scapes below that.

A very beautiful lily though. For here, anything 6 or above is worth considering; scape density and bud count consistency are also factors.

My Navajo Pony does lean. This may be partly due to location-it only gets morning sun. I think Kay ’s plant does better.

Hopefully Sherry won’t take my alphabet posting privileges away for posting this! Celeste and Debra both commented on this one in the Ls and I thought they would probably see it sooner on this post. So I will name this photo ”Not liking Like a Gee Six”. I found this close up when I was perusing for Ns. All blooms look like this. So it’s not the quirky form so much as the ugly blooms I don’t like!!

Navajo Pony does well here and has rebloomed even the first year I had it.

Neon Flamingo does not usually rebloom here but blooms pretty well.

No Boys Allowed: I do like the blooms, but it does not bloom a lot here. It is not in the best place, however

And I know New Paradigm did not do well for a lot of people but it does well and does rebloom here, and is one of my earliest to bloom.

My favorites are Nile Princess , and New Paradigm, some really great pictures of Neon flamingo too! My Navajo Pony does lean some, but I would not have noticed if I had not been asked. Not enough to bother me. I had one leaner, can't remember the name because I got rid of it, but it leaned to the ground and flopped on plants around it. Not a distinctive flower either, so it did not hang around long. I like No Boys Allowed too, but decided not to get it because it did not have the high bud counts of other, similar Davisson.

Thanks everyone for the feedback regarding NAVAJO PONY. I do grow and it does lean. I may move it to a spot where it gets full sun and see what happens. The taller thinner scaped diploid spiders and UFOs tend to lean when they are not in full sun. At least that is my observation. The tet ufos and spider seem to handle the shade a little better and not lean.

I have struggled to get the correct color on Naughty by Nature. It looks to be a good one.

New Tangerine Twist is a reliable one for us.

A couple of pretties, Nancy. I was looking through pictures tonight and came across a good one of three blooms on Extreme Tangerine that were awfully pretty. I can't wait to see how it does this year.
