for the handles, may I suggest something to pick up on the hues in the flooring? A little more copper toned. you have light cabs, light floors. I think throwing in a dark ORB w/o actual copper highlights would be too much of a contrast. IMO. cypress park Sandra, I like the porcelain one better than the other one. Does the backsplash have to be done immediately? If the tones in the porcelain tile you picked clash w/the ivory tones in the counter, it could be a problem. However, I did find some copper toned ones that should be avail. these are porcelain/SS, and treated so as not to stain or tarnish. I LOVE these for your kitchen. timeless and gorgeous. you've just about described my new kitchen (the island looks a little blue here, but it's a dark charcoal called Wrought Iron) the island is Calacatta and the perimeter is Eternal Serena quartz (they also have a charcoal color option that almost looks like soapstone, but I thought it would be too dark for mine) I'm not completely finished w/the tiling in my kitchen ) slab of the Serena Look up Silestone Eternal Charcoal and see if you like the darker. btw, here's one of the porcelain slabs from my tile place that I was considering. looked so real.

You don’t mention your style of decorating, but check out Charleston Forge. An investment, but they will last a lifetime and yo can easily change seat fabric. I had them in my last house(s). I think there are photos in my projects. Loved these stools. Here are the stools in my antique house with the original fabric. Unfortunately the photo of next house bar doesn’t show the great fabric I used. Obviously, I bought 3 more stools.
