That table could work.I like it better with the blue Oushak than the red Heriz, though. You're asking for a casual look in a room with fairly ornate furniture, a crystal chandelier, a great big fireplace with a Moroccan mirror, traditional lamps and bookcases down the hall. I'm not sure it's possible without starting over. Besides, I don't find traditional tribal rugs particularly formal.

Just found this on a design blog; they paired the Sven sofa with traditional style chairs. I think it works. They even used the exact same media console I was looking at, and the fireplace looks very similar to what I'm aiming for with the remodel.

it's nice to get the furniture off the wall but you don't need a walkway behind the longest sofa. you DO need it behind the new location of the love seat around the back and the kitchen side to the back door. moving the 3 seater back up against the wall and shifting the love seat with it will open up more space on the kitchen side opening up the room even more. or just move the sofa to the wall and leave the loveseat so you still have a path to the doors across the seating area. the cabinet you have angled in the corner now can act as a sofa table behind the love seat just to give you and idea or it can go under the opening to your kitchen or along the wall under your mirror. love your mirror by the way, I wouldn't paint it. the white chair looks great in the room. first picture to show that with a sofa table you don't look at the back of a couch and leaves a walkway thru the seating. imagine the left sofa in the 2nd picture against a wall the loveseat forming and L with an end table between. the 3rd an alternate location for the chair just make sure you still have comfortable access to the door .

The ONLY way I would buy a 300.00 chair, would be in a teen dorm, to toss the old teddy bear , or the clothes that the kid refused to hang. Why? Because I don't fill the landfill - nor do I waste a clients money. ( Note: there is no free in life, and there is NO free shipping. It's IN the chair pricing in all of this stuff ) On what planet do trucks not need fuel, does a worker not get paid to pack and wrap?! What dock worker is hauling this container of junk off a ship for FREE? ) I understand resources, and the urge to finish a space. But you are being unrealistic about price points that would get some longevity and quality. Unless you are buying this to throw out, or to NEVER sit down. You don't want me to tell you that a decent chair starts at a grand or close. I would wait, save up. Room and Board ships for 75.00 dollars. Ask yourself how soon you'd like to be replacing an Amazon or Wayfair chair.
