Hi Juan- Blue and orange go so well together because they are complementary colors, and if you add in a little bit of another blue that you like that will be just gorgeous. It's difficult for me to tell if your wall is blue as in primary blue or more blue-purple, but no matter, they both go perfectly well with orange. Depending on the look you want, you can use 1. A tint of your blue (think of your color blue paint with white added) giving you a lighter blue color 2. A light tone of your blue, which would be your blue but lightened up with light grey added. 3. Something way out there, and I don't know if this would work, it depends what color the wall is in real life, something like turquoise blue. Here is some orange to look at so you can look at the colors all together, and of course, there are many orange colors as well. Whenever I want to know if certain colors can go together, I just look to nature. You can mix styles of furnishings too, but carefully. I bet you can find a marvelous Oriental rug with blue and orange and umber. The dining chairs are unique, I agree. I think they would show better on a darker rug (and a larger one). What do you think?
