Hi thank you! The majority of the walls in the rest of the house are a lighter shade of beige. Yes new to us just moved in and looking to update even with paint and light fixtures in the mean time. Having just purchased we are not in the market for a full kitchen remodel at this time but hoping there is something we can do to update at a lower price point.

What direction are you wanting to go — more subdued, or dark and bold, or bright and cheery, warm tones or cool tones, etc? How do you decorate inside? Will there be new railings? What is your siding color? I can’t tell on my monitor if it’s white or has a tinge of yellow. I’m a big fan of oranges, corals, and mustards, but I don’t know if that’s the direction you want to go. Soft gray like nickel mentioned: Darker gray: BM Hale Navy: Lots of good ideas and variety here, with colors given (Kelly Moore is my favorite paint brand). Cute house but I'm not quite clear on what you want exactly for your front door other than a wood colour, your mention modern style so I presume you are changing it to a steel door. Below I show one available at Home Depot in a chocolate brown, I find the style fits with the style of your windows. I'm also showing a railing that would give your porch a finishing touch along with a nice large black lantern style sconce. Maybe you can install a fence along the side of your carport to hide the garbage cans etc. that can be seen now in your picture. A perennial (not much maintenance) flower bed on the right and flowerbox with same type of flowers along the patio (seems to be asphalt there now) would complete the look.
