help! Replacing old moen faucet

Hi there on a tight budget and I just want to replace this faucet but not the sink. What kind of Fossett do I need to be looking for where I can replace this one for one here are some photos thank you

Remove the faucet, measure the distance of the holes and purchase a faucet with same dimensions of the existing faucet.

Because you are on a budget, why do you want to replace vs repair?

I bought this exact sink with original hardware and legs for my bathroom. Does anyone have any tips on the best way to mount it? It came with two legs (no towel bars) and no mounting bracket. There are no slits in the back, only underneath. I see these beauties installed in bathrooms all over the internet, but no word on how people mount them. Any tips are appreciated! Btw I also asked the nice people over at deabath and am waiting to hear back. But figured maybe you would might know. Thanks!

What a great tip and equally important is another example of Moen's great customer service and warranty. I read about them over and over and continue to hear great things. More people should be aware of Moen's willingness to help, to give parts and if necessary, if parts cant be had, to replace the fixture completely. Thanks for the tip and relating your experience for others to see. By the way I have Parkinson's and under that shake thing you got going...LOL

Moen faucet - replacing cartridge, will not budge

Problem might be breaking the o-ring seal so the cartridge can be pulled up. If that's the case you want to spray silicone around the cartridge so it can get down to the o-ring. Then that's where twisting with the included tool would break the seal so you can pull the cartridge. Since one of the plastic pieces broke off you have to devise a way to turn the cartridge. You might be able to fit a thin instrument like a feeler gauge alongside the cartridge and break the o-ring seal.

You don't say but if it is a regular tub shower combo, you just take off the old and put on the new. Teflon tape on pipe threads and a little caulk, it takes less than an hour for a cosmetic only change.

Hi, Most all the work is done under the sink THE BEST ADVICE i CAN GIVE YOU IS SHUT OFF THE WATER AND MAKE SURE IT'S OFF.

A good affordable starter faucet would be a Moen Adler. For slightly more money you could get a Moen Chateau which is a little better. Avoid the Delta Foundations series; it gets clogged easily and the aerator is a pain to remove without damaging the faucet.

Thanks for the warning about Delta Foundations I was looking at them at Home Depot. I think most bathroom sink faucets are 3 inch on center so most should work.
