Comments (19)mtbgirl: Does that "mtb" stand for mountain bike?? We're big mtb'ers here! Hmmmm...the Samsung thing. The 29 CF FD got the JD Powers award for four years in a row. Its gotten alot of raves on this forum, I believe. Its not the one Im looking at but I've heard a lot of positive things about Samsung refrigerators. Now, Ive also heard some negative but the thing is, is that I read ALOT of reviews of brands that are in my price range (GE Profile, Samsung, Whirlpool) and there is so much positive/negative on them all that its really hard to make a decision. You find a brand that gets a LOT of positive reviews and just about make up your mind but then all of a sudden come across three or four negatives and-BAM-your decision is blown out of the water. I did look at Consumer Reports (which I know doesnt hold a lot of weight on this forum) and the Samsung was rated 4th, so..... Now, about Warehouse Discount Center....the thought of purchasing an appliance online scares me but if I could save that much money then I'd consider it. Have you ordered from them? Are they legit? Thanks for all of your input!...See MoreFrench Door Refrigerator - Door Pulls???
Comments (1)I am in the process of shopping for the same (for same appliance!!) and my guidance is a 12" is too small for a refrigerator or freezer-- you have to be able to get enough leverage to break the seal. I was looking at 15" and was told that they might be too small for the fridge, but would prolly work on a small wine cooler. Regarding size, I don't think they need to match length-wise, but I do think you might want to rethink using the 12" length anywhere on the KA. (sorry!!) Good luck....See MoreSill height for sliding patio/french doors
Comments (5)We are on Lake Lanier and have built with Marvin Integrity Ultrex/Wood. We replaced a smaller house and one of the best decisions I made was to change from slider to french doors. The sliders on the old house were large and did not seal that well (although they were fairly high end). The constant opening and closing of these sliders became annoying after a few years. With the french doors, the opening is much bigger (when you open both doors) and they operate like a door so kids can use them easier. You're welcome to stop by and see them if you like. Let me know and I'll send my email address....See MoreExterior colors help wanted - shutters/garage door/balcony french door
Comments (5)Hi Cindy, the brick is "Old Orleans" by Cherokee brick. Its a great looking brick with lots of character. The mortar was rubbed over the brick to achieve the aged look. I put the same post in the home decorating forum with a couple more up close pictures if you care to see any more of this brick....See MorePPF.
