Those IMO are completely useless lighting for over an island so I would put those over the table and get some pendants that actually light the island

IMO your DR fixture can be a stand alone onw since it is the star of the DR and does not need to go with the kichen lighting . As for the choice IMO way too early to go there. There is no way to clean a 10x10 island so you need a KD ASAP not your architect or cabinets sales person but an actual independant KD. First get that done then you at least know how many fixtures in the kitchen the DR you need to know your table size and where it will be placed then the electrician can do his job.

I like all of the lights posted below - with the possible exception of the last PB one which doesn't seem substantial enough to me. Also I know this isn't your question... 3' aisles are too tight for a kitchen. You really want at least 3'-6" there, even if your fridge is built in (if it's not, have your architect or whomever draw in your actual fridge to specs). I would also recommend moving the sink & DW over and placing that end cabinet on the other side of your island. You will appreciate the additional space in your prep zone.
