beache - I suspected the slipper color would be too pale, but it is sophisticated imo. Well, since she knows what she doesn't want (half the battle), cruise through the gallery with her as oceanna suggested, then take that girl to the paint store to look at samples! It's great that you are allowing the vision in her head to become reality. In my response above, I sat here and deabated with myself whether the correct term was pointe shoes or toe shoes. Now I know!!!! LOL. My daughter was a little ballerina and injured herself just before going on pointe. That pretty much took care of ballet for her future. She is 22 now and we still love watching ballet together. :) She will always love pink, too.

Yes, too busy to do a teal on teal damask BUT I would consider a cream tone on tone damask. The stencil could be in a gloss to have it be subtle but noticeable.

I have untinted SW paint in my basement from the last 40% off sale because I hadn't chosen colors yet but I'm willing to consider having it tinted to a competitor's color(s). How I want the rooms to feel is a hard question. I guess I'm too analytical. Comfortable and livable -- somewhere between jarring/pay-attention-to-me and boring/bland? Guest room is rarely used, just the occasional overnight by a traveling family member. It might get more use in a few years if my kids bring friends home from college but I doubt they'll care as long as you feed them. :) Tibbrix, I'll definitely check out the other blues you suggested. I'm glad you responded because I remembered seeing that you weren't entirely happy with SW Languid Blue. Will take some photos after I get things better organized.
