Since you just moved in, I would leave the gray, if its in good condition. Warm it up with your furniture, and your draperies, and your area rugs. You can always repaint later, if you still dont like the gray. I like the white on your cabinets and trim. Its a nice clean white.

First fix the lighting I like LEDs 4000K everywhere to keep all colora true all the time. I would not choose a white at all but a color that has a hint of color in it . I use this very often cut 25% for a really nice neutral that looks good with many shades of white, gray and even beiges

The space looks very nice, and I would even consider one of the light yellow shades (like this one), it would look great with the white cabinets and for sure warm things up, which is what you aim for.

If you want to go with white I would match your trim, otherwise go for more of a contrast. The middle color looks pretty good with the cabinets, but I can’t tell for sure with the lighting. The cabinets don’t look like a cool white to me, they look like a fairly neutral white. The backsplash is a warmer neutral, maybe match it.

My condolences on the gray. I’m right there with you.

I’d agree with getting your lighting finalized first, so you can see what’s what.

You say grey but what tone is the gray? is it green gray blue gray purple gray etc? Knowing this will help you choose the correct colour to go with it and as for lighting I prefer a 3000 k as its a warmer cast, 4000 looks like a hospital..
