White bathroom fixtures with off white trim and cabinets?
Comments (2)Yes, they will look fine in white. The linen white isn't super cream, it's just a warm off white so white toilet, tub and sinks will look lovely with it....See MoreWhites & Off-whites combo for Classic, Clean, Bright but Warm Kitchen
Comments (6)Finally made a decision! Had a color consultant from the painting company come out and look at paint samples and tile. Decided an off-white cabinet vs white would look best based on the rest of the kitchen and house. Picked the tile we liked best and the BM Maritime White we originally picked for cabinets and walls. We'll use the same white trim I have in the rest of the house. There's enough of a contrast where it looks good and that's what I've done with the rest of the house --and consistent with the decor style. My 1926 house has a lot of nice moldings, large baseboards, and trim and we show it off!...See MoreBright white trim and off white cabinets
Comments (19)Thank you everyone for the suggestions so far! I think I will definitely paint the walls a soft white or something between the white and cream. I never liked the green but couldn’t decide on a color so I’ve left it since we moved in a few months ago. The countertops have the backsplash thing attached so I’m going to try to see if I can remove that to put my own in. If I can’t remove it would it look ridiculous to do some small tiles above it between that and the upper cabinets? This is our first house and we don’t really have the budget to do new countertops or replace any cabinets so that’s not really in the picture. I’m just trying to make it look a little better! We have to keep the island because it has storage and we don’t have much of that. We also use it a ton for cooking. I don’t want to paint the trim to match the cabinets because all the trim in the rest of the house is white including the dining room which is open to the kitchen....See MoreCOOL WHITE WALLS WITH ANTIQUE WHITE CABINET
Comments (17)I just went through this same situation. I have off white glazed cabinets in my kitchen and I didn't want to change them so I chose the same color warm (SW antique white) paint I had on my trim in half formula and painted all the trim and walls the this same color. If you compare the paint to a true white it still looks very creamy but without any contrast (other than sheen) between the trim and walls it feels like a nice warm white space. Not too bright but not too creamy either. It also made the space feel much larger because there are no definitive stripes around the room! FYI - I am an interior designer and I looked at many, many options before going this direction and I am very happy with the outcome....See MorePatricia Colwell Consulting
