We had Kemper cabinets in our last build and they were fine. This build includes Debut Cabinets. How do they compare? I can not find Kemper specs online. Thanks!

I am also starting to remodel my kitchen and from what I understand there is Wolf Classic Cabinets which are builder grade and Wolf Designer Cabinets which are nicer. I realize this thread is a few months old but I am wondering what cabinets you ended up choosing and if you are happy with them. I am choosing between, Wolf Designer, Kemper, Decora, Waypoint Living Spaces (different from Waypoint builder grade). There is also Medallion & Shuler (which I hear are basically the same cabinet sold by different retailers). Another one, Kith by Eudora. Holy cow! I am looking for a mid to high quality cabinet. Doesn't have to be top of the line but I don't want junk. I am also going with a painted cabinet so I want to make sure the company does a nice job with the paints. Etc. The more I shop and read the more confused I get. Let me know if and what you decided on and I would love to see some pictures. Thanks!

I sell both, and they're apples and oranges. There's a whole other cabinet line in the middle between the two quality wise. That's Kemper. I usually put a customer in Echo who is looking to downsize the price from Kemper and who isn't married to all ply and soft close. That's the only time that such a downgrade makes sense. Add in the soft close drawers, and it's a decent compromise for a budget project. Most of the doorstyles are partial overlay rather than full overlay though. I can't say enough good things about Dynasty/Omega. They are a quality cabinet from start to finish. And they are reasonable in price given their specs. Even their beaded inset is priced well. They will not be as cheap as an Echo quote. They're worth the $ difference unless your budget can't swing it. Look at Kemper as well. It's in the middle between the two. Great amount of choices available with good specs. Soft close doors and drawers are standard, as they are on Dynasty. No inset though.

Standard Kemper, sure. It’s mid grade. Not the lower spec Echo. Unless you’re doing an entry level home. Wellborn nothing, ever.
