Weeping Redbud, can this be fixed?

I don't know if I should be upset or not but I ordered a 3 gallon Golden Falls Weeping Redbud from an online nursery. I don't think they trained it properly to be staked up. They let the main trunk fall over and weep and then grabbed another one and also failed to keep that one going up so now the main trunk will have a C shape, possibly an S or E shape since I have to wait for a new branch to form to train since both are too hard to move. Should I cut it back down? Am I overreacting and it will be fine having a weird main trunk? All of the pictures I see online have a nice straight trunk and then weeping branches on top. The tree is about 3ft tall right now. The weeping branches are almost as long as the tree.
