Any ideas on the paint color on the trim/wainscoting in this photo?

I have a very similar yellow color on my walls, and I would like to repaint my trim to match the color . The photo is from https://www-thisoldhouse-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.thisoldhouse.com/platform/amp/painting/21018649/11-of-your-most-crazy-making-paint-color-questions-answered. They provide a color palette, but it seems to be based on the image rather than the original paint colors. Thank you!

I'm sorry the photo didn't show up the first time. I have Behr Jackfruit, which has a little more gold in it. Thank you!

Hi, Welcome to Melbourne, FL. I've lived here since 1989, got transplanted from TX. I wish you had posted this about 2wks ago because I put boxes of frames out for trash day :-( We are putting our house up for sale and I had to rid myself of all my trash to treasure unfinished projects to get the house ready to show. Bummer I know! I had a few folks pick up some things, but lots I saw crushed in the trash truck. I was soooooo sad I had to lose all my collected treasures. Anywho, just wanted to let you know where I shop, other than the side of the road. There is a thrift store on Auroa Road called C.I.T.A ( Christ is the Answer) and also the 2nd store on US 1. The stores help the homeless in the area and the larger store on US 1 houses and feeds these folks. All the items for the stores are donated and you can't beat the prices. Goodwill and SA here are way too pricey! Anyway hope you find lots of frames and wish I could offer ideas for your display. Mary Ann

Wonderful!!! What is the wall color? Reminds me of my beloved BM Capitol White. Interesting, because I painted my kitchen walls in the CW and my new cabs are sage green, so we both have that combo. Great, isn't it? Congrats! It's really a great farmer's kitchen! Love it. Love the (coffee?) grinder! The HUGE window, the huge doorway with the gigantic transom above it...that is a really great room.

The grey fad is essentially over; and since you are looking to brighten up the space, I suggest using a warm white. There are many warm whites to choose from. Benjamin Moore’s Ballet White is a nice, versatile color. You could try a sample. You could do the walls and trim in same color with different finishes. Or with the Ballet White, BM’s White Dove would be good on trim. I like BM’s Natura line.

I looked at the article on This Old House, the photo is a concept and they do not provide the names of the colors.

Have you used the Behr visualizer? They recommend Cafe Cream as the white to coordinate with Jackfruit. At an LRV of 82 it should be the perfect white with your color.

Thank you, @tracefloyd. The Behr simulation looks great, and the trim color looks like a very close match. I will play around with it a little bit.

Paint makers know what colors they blend in their mixes, so use their recommendations and the colors won't look 'off' next to each other in the room. It makes it easier for their customers.
