Comments (5)your pictures are rather blurry. are you wanting to retile both fireplaces? and what's the deal w/the tiles matching yellow? just get a neutral stone or tile. I don't understand the issue w/that one. redo the surround in the living room. just remove everything and pick something you like. this white quartzite split face panels always go w/everything doing the white mantel surround w/a black tile always goes w/everything. or, you don't even have to tile....See MoreFireplace Dilemma
Comments (3)This is in the main bedroom, in a nook. Would have have loved to have a stone fireplace surround but based on my research they’re all quite expensive. The fireplace is a bit too wide to have a wood surround so the only viable option I can think of is to have marble in the surround with a floating mantel above....See MoreFireplace dilemma-paint interior ? Comments (3)Thank you @Patricia Colwell the fireplace is quite large- 75 " w 41" tall (opening) . We are on oil so I cant do gas and the house is concrete slab/radiant floors with concrete block walls so not sure how we would get a propane line to it - i agree the stove is odd (but very functional in NJ winters) . The fireplace is not efficient and crazy difficult to clean out. I am trying to figure out if i move the stove to inside the fireplace, eliminate the fireplace and put in some nice built ins, paint the inside the same color as the wall and do the candle set up I dont want to lose the MCM/FLW charm The TV is a samsung frame so we can change the art couches across from fireplace are 91 each so it a large room Here are photos of the overall space...See MoreTv and Fireplace Dilemma
Comments (0)Where should I put this tv!? The cabinet is temporary until we figure out what to do. Couches are being replaced with an ivory linen modular couch. Tossing up between getting a low tv cabinet and putting the tv on the wall above it or putting the tv on the wall between the fireplace and door and putting a floating timber shelf above or below it. The other option is putting the Tv on the wall under the stairs but then the couches would be facing away from the fireplace 🤦🏽♀️ Somewhere in there, Id also like to put floating shelves or a bookshelf for books and photos. What to do!?...See Morelisedv
