Paint Design Dilemma Exterior

What colors should I use for gutters, trim, doors?

I took your advice and went with a gray/brown shingle & removed the shutters. We chose 'natural clay' vinyl siding that will wrap around the front corner eliminating the white 'column.' Just need to choose the color for the gutters, soffit, door, & trim from the options below to be done when the siding goes on. Separately, we'll paint the front door and garage, and service door if you can suggest colors there too. Thanks so much, you'll all so fabulous!

I love this color with brick but it will IMO require at least painting the garage door and front door . I would do a dark gray roof close to the color of the grout in the brick. Please do not paint that brick IMO the fastest way to devalue a home.I love the look of all the trim painted the same as the siding

Agree with PC with roof and siding colors. I would remove the shutters since the window’s not the right size or style for them.

I'd do a nice bright white semi gloss trim. just pick a nice, crisp white ( fill the holes first and apply a good primer before painting. fine sand the primer coat and wipe clean prior to painting) if you're doing it yourself, get BM Advance or SW ProClassic paint. it's great for trim work. buy the best brush for trim work painting. trust me on this one. **oh, get some wood putty or filler and fill in all the nail holes you see first. when dry, lightly sand the filler so that it's flush w/the rest of the surface. wipe all residue off the wood before painting. ** are the red shutters staying? door color depends on what else is in the room. what color furniture you have or accent colors. if you want to match the panel color, try one of these shades on the door

The stone sample is Eldorado Charleston Mountain Ledge. I’ve already puchased the stone so I have to stick with it. The house is mostly brick with the exception of rock on the front porch, columns and large gable on the left. I do have shakes in the other gables too. Sorry, I didn’t realize the roof was covered with snow in the picture but it’s GAF Weathered Wood. Thanks for your help.

I would use the exact color of the house on the garage doors. I would however paint your front door a bright color, so it stands out a bit. Also add some color in the porch under the roof by front door. It looks very dark, and uninviting in that area. Add some colored pots of pretty color on the porch. Color can make a huge difference. Its a very cute house. Congratulations on your new home.

Medium gray roof, remove the shutters on the front. The right shade of taupe sounds like a good idea if you don't like the idea of green. Since the roof is urgent, deal with that and then start sampling colors for the siding. BM has a lot of good colors for exteriors in their Historical Colors. Don't commit to a color until you have looked at a large scale sample on all sides of the house (you can always paint a board and move it around) during various times of day and weather conditions. Too many people have their whole house painted and don't end up liking the color. Paint the garage door the same color as the siding - white is not doing your house any favors. Your front door could be black.
