A charming home! Love the bay window but its shutters are ludicrous. Toss them.

I assume the rusty/brown roof isn’t changing? So you need a color that goes well with it as well as the red bricks.

Whst do you suggest for the shutters instead. I’m thinking of painting the door red or blue. The roof will most likely change to a darker Brown.
I Was thinking a yellow color to make it more noticeable but not overdo it. I want to keep it a traditional color

Here’s my suggestion for shutters: none.

Shutters should look operable, as if they could cover the windows properly. Therefore, shutters do not go on a bay window because they’d be so large so they’d look ridiculous. And if you don’t have them on the bay, don’t put them on the other window.

I agree, remove the shutters. I like the color of them so I would paint my house that color! Then put wider, whiter trim on windows and door.

Very cute house! I suggest you paint the body in Chelsea Gray (BM Historical Colours) with white trim, black door & roof above door & bay window. I would remove the shutters and instead make the trim around the windows larger. You can install a flower box under the window on the right. I also show a darker brown roof as you mention that's in your plan.

Hector, if you choose a charcoal gray roof color when it needs replacement, you give yourself and a future buyer a lot more color options for everything.
Super super cute house, I’d remove the shutters, the white garden stone and the two shrubs. Is the overhang above the door paintable? Is it metal?
