What color would you paint my house?

Hi, we would like to change the color of our home. I have some ideas of what I might like but curious as to what you all think. Even better if you have a specific shade you'd recommend. We live in MA. Thanks in advance!

Is a paint job actually needed, or you’re just wanting something different?

No white stain, no solid gray stain. As others mentioned, replace the random wood boards with redwood. If not possible, then work with those boards to stain the to match the house. Does the siding ’need’ to be restrained or are you doing this because you want to change the look?

First colors on monitors are often very different that what the actual color is and in this case even worse since the pic is not in bright light . My advice take the picture to the paint store and see how close you can come with paint chips.

@elcoeg yes, it is stucco that has been painted gray. I am not a fan of our home's exterior overall, but it was in a prime location for good schools and an easy commute to San Francisco, so it worked well for us and I am sure it will be attractive to at least one buyer. I am intrigued by the idea of forgoing paint in favor of a nicer garage door. The trim does need to be painted due to some repairs, but the stucco is in decent shape.

I like the yellow too, but so many houses on the street are the same color. We are thinking to choose something else. We do like that it's happy, non-neutral and classic- hoping to find another color that checks those boxes

Massachusetts girl here: I like the yellow, but the clapboard isn't dark enough and your trim is too white. This house in Deerfield.

I love white houses and this one is in Amherst.
