What color would you paint my house?
Comments (5)Thanks! I think the trim at one point was a chocolate brown, because I can see remnants of it on the brick in a few places. We think we do want a color that's not brown/beige/tan/white -unless that becomes the best option, because we've always lived with those colors in former houses, and just feel like the exterior could be turned up a notch with something different. For a red door, I was thinking a deep cranberry color. DH still wants something brighter. I'm afraid that the brick, roof, and surroundings can't support a bright color....See MoreWhat color would you paint this house?
Comments (9)I really like that maroon/wine color going on upstairs. Any chance you can paint the lower section like this? Keep the tan color trim & maybe find one other color for an accent. I threw together a quick idea. Maybe not this particular green, but maybe more of a bluer tint. The lower section can be your wine color & my reddish looking detail is also your wine color. Just trying to toss out paint & detail ideas to give the old gal a little pizazz! I think your place would be great with the wine & 2 trim colors!!...See MoreWhat colors would you paint this house?
Comments (14)I think the siding would be nice in a neutral putty-type color, and a darker slate-type color for the trim. I too would remove the shutters, which I sort of feel badly about because they are so common for the age and style of home and I hate pulling period appropriate details. Those hedges are so appropriate for this house, too. Love them....See MoreWhat color would you paint this house?
Comments (3)I think white would look beautiful! Do this. Prime it white. See if you love it. If not....try something else. But I think white would be striking! Your landscaping will add green...and your deck furniture, etc. will add color, too. Good luck! Beautiful home!...See MoreKj Albany
