Looks like you have another flower on the way so don't mess with the pot till it's done. Mine is in a basket with a little moss which is how it was when i bought it, I put that basket in a bigger basket since it was going over the side. I like to use hydroton for my cattleya types, when they over grow the pot I just stick it in a slightly bigger pot and fill the space with more mix. So should we start placing bets on when you will start to get rid of some citrus trees to make more room for orchids?

YO! Abba Dabba Doo (thanks to hostahillbilly's pics) - besides the pics, believe us, this cultivar is probably the fastest grower here, even in heavy shade. Do yourself and it a big favor and bury a soaker seeping hose around it. I'm pretty sure it is impossible to overwater it. When it does get a lot of water it really 'stands up' in the traditional 'vase-shaped' form, pretty! Whirlwind - My wife teases the heck outa me every time we go on a hosta run because I always exclaim, 'Hey, Hon, lookie here!' when I come across this cultivar. Even though it's not a BIG one or a fast grower, it must be one of the ones that qualify for the 'ten yard' rule, or however that goes. Anyway, it is distinct, and everyone should have one, sorta like H. 'June', eh? hh

Once a friend of mine sent me a Christmas gift but it never came, until 6-9 months later! It was a homemade fruitcake. I was swapping with Kiwi who's in New Zealand and my package never got to her. Weeks later it showed up back at my house, pretty mangled. I had to resend it to her. I've had a few Netflix movies disappear when I mailed them back. I was putting them in my mailbox and putting the flag up but I only did it very rarely, usually I drop them in the drive thru mail drop in front of our post office. So, I got kinda suspicious that everytime I left them in our mailbox here at the house they would turn up missing. I quit doing that, in fact I only put mail that doesn't belong to me out there anymore. Then about two months ago I was leaving work and dropped my Netflix movies in a curbside box in Lexington and one turned up missing again. I hate getting the ex's mail. He's never lived in my house and I just find it really annoying that they are sending his crap to me.

hmm Caroline, I didn't receive it, and the email I use on this site is correct. Did you send it today because I often empty my junk or trash folder without reading the emails. Didn't empty it today though and there is nothing in it. Anne
