Ideas for exterior stucco colors

Seeking help with exterior paint colors. Need three colors (within LRV 10-75). First image is actual home. Last two images are sample ideas. Thank you.

When you say the entire front entry way -- do you mean the entire vertical column to the roof -- or just the lower portion with the arch up to the horizontal break line? Either way -- I would go lighter (just the opposite of your idea - sorry). Just like the windows are trimmed in white drawing you to notice them -- I would lighten the entrance area. Alternatively, consider an Exterior Glaze tinted with a slightly Darker Grey (or any color for that matter). This can be applied evenly ... or applied evenly and then brushed over with a clean push-broom (no kidding). The Darker Grey (or accent color) will settle in your stucco pattern but the under Grey color will still show thru making your entrance a subtle difference from everything else but tied together. Long and involved idea (sorry) but I've done this stucco application many, many times with fabulous results (for large interior areas). The technique is exactly the same for Exteriors and you can research it for more details. Good luck.

I got outvoted on sage, but we found a dark blue color at Sherwin WIlliams that I think will look really nice. We have to get some samples and try them out to test the different lighting. It's dramatic and I like it. No one else on the street has this color. What do you think? Thank you everyone for your help. It's nice to get outside perspective.

Masonry, especially stucco takes extra care in humid climates with the current booming construction markets. Your existing perforated or woven housewrap suggests questionable long term durability with that choice. If you stucco be sure to mind the gap. Gaps are important in most cladding systems so metal, wood or engineered siding installed on a rainscreen would be safer choices for durability considering most labor markets. Looks like you guys got continuous sill flashing below your windows so you seem to be ahead of the game compared to most projects involving weatherproofing.

Any paint color can look good with stucco, I think, it is more a matter of complementing the style of the house and the chosen trims and roof. Some house styles will not be "right" with a very dark color or with a big bold color. And your personal taste plays a role, of course. Someone else with more expertise on actual paint shades in the market would have to chime in. You might try some of the paint manufacturers websites - they all have a "visualizer" where you can upload a photo of your house and try out different colors

Love the white in your pics- modernize the accent pieces too by removing the balcony and the crosses.

The white is definitely a good choice..especially if you keep the garage door white… as it stands out too much in a contrasting color….and black trim on the details you want to highlight a good-idea…however i would remove the fencing in front of the doorway and develop a more dramatic entry…more inviting and welcoming from the street

In order to replicate the last picture, wouldn't you need to get all new windows and doors? It doesn't look like your windows are black. Were you planning on replacing your windows? The white and black look is done a lot. If you're not going to replace your windows, think about a lighter and less yellow-peach body color and contrasting trim in taupe instead of the green in the first inspiration picture. I like the green doors, but I don't think I would like green trim all over the house.

How much influence will the roof color have? We can't really see it and your pic doesn't enlarge.
