Need help with best paint color to go with Taj Mahal quartzite!
Comments (12)I have a similar problem. I moved into a home with Taj Mahal quartzite, need to paint cabinets and picked white dove but want to have accent color on the island. My backsplash is an ivory glass tile which looks pretty minty green. Any moody blue to try and bring some blue into the room? I was looking at trout gray or wolf gray. Will this look terrible? Also I’m thinking satin bronze pulls to bring out the gold in the Taj Mahal....See MoreOak cabinets with Taj Mahal quartzite

Comments (7)If we had enough, we would use the counter material everywhere! As it is, we have enough material to do the countertops, backsplash for the bar, and 2 side panel (backsplashes?) to the edge of the cabinets. I was wondering if you have any advice how to handle the vertical edge of the quartzite 3cm (from the wall to the face of the side backsplash surface). The edge of the horizontal countertop will be 1/8" radius edge. Also, will the thicker side backsplash panels look strange on either side of the bar? If I were to do this again, which we never will, I would NOT get KM! Especially from the box store we went through. UGH The finished project looks nice, but ........................................ Also, this piece of Taj in the bath is a different slab than the kitchen. It doesn't have as much gray as the kitchen. The kitchen is a nice blend of cool AND warm colors. Bobbi...See More2rparikh
