I am a big fan of natural, open and uncovered when possible. I don't like window coverings of any kind so I'd take the verticle blinds off the DR window. 1. The two matching Chandeliers are going, but will it look odd if I put a Chandelier in the dining area only and then go with a foyer light over the door? No, and if it does you can always fix it. 2. What kind of window treatment for the window (dont need it for privacy). NONE at all, I would let those windows stay uncovered, I like them very much. Broken record?!? LOL 3. What to put up in the alcove, My son painted the whole room in SW Believable Buff but left that alone because I plan on painting it an accent color. Do you have a collection you could scatter in there? I love that alcove, I would put pictures, ir pottery, or grandmas glass treasures, or some such collection of stuff. 4a. Should I hang a larger mirror or is the one up there ok? I think the mirror is okay just like it is, no sconces necessary. 4b. I have a lrg leaning mirror that can be hung on the wall or I can get sconces to hang on each side of the one thats up there. Have you tried the mirror to see what it looks like? Hi, I posted a question in Design Dilemma yesterday and attached a picture of some Armstrong Alterna samples I am considering. I am reattaching them here as they might be close to what you are looking for as well. Most of the LVT I found is too patterned for me, but these three are subtle. This Armstrong style is the Multistone line and there is a white in this grouping that is even more even in tone and light in color than the three I am considering. All the LVT brands seem to have a solid white but that is just too stark and modern for my taste. Mannington Audra has Manhattan White and that is also very pretty. I was able to borrow the samples from the flooring store to take home, but I ordered some samples directly from Armstrong. However, I was a bit miffed for getting charged $8 for a tiny 8 x 8 sample plus shipping. I believe Mannington will send a sample for free. Armstrong is made in the U.S. and Mannington is bringing theirs back this summer (I called each company because this is important to me).

Gray is still a front runner. Laura and Cali, please show what you have done recently in your own homes. That said, we decorate for ourselves. I prefer the lighter gray, but I prefer wider longer planks. What LVP are you considering? Many here, me included, are pleased with Coretec. There are a few threads discussing this product.

A neighbor came to see our bathrooms and commented "it's warm (in stocking feet)" perhaps in comparison to a stone tile which would feel colder. DH installed it and used the Coretech transition for the primary bath, but we had a wood transition that was glued down for the hall bath so I asked him to cut it at a 45 degree angle and I think it looks wonderful!
