Single Wall Oven Dilemma help needed
Comments (14)I was so close to buying the GE double in a single space. I love the concept with the two spaces cooking at different temps and the top one to do pizza in. It's the price that I couldn't deal with right now. I usually get my appliances from the local appliance company so went there today to see what they would do for us. We all went back and forth about the oven and the guy/owner who does all the repairs was a little nervous about the design itself. If there's a problem he's the one that will be coming to fix it. They were actually going to give me a decent price, even much better than HD for it, then I saw the wine fridge which I am planning for in the kitchen. Funny how things turn out. Well, in order to pay for the wine fridge that goes in a cabinet, the choice was made. I got a deal on the floor model of the wine fridge, and I get the plain 30" GE SS wall oven for just about the same price as the double in a single. Now, if in a couple years I want to change out the 30" I will still have that option. I also got an OTR microwave to use for venting. Now I will have room for a countertop/convection oven if I want that to complement the oven. Thanks so much for the ideas! Woo Hoo! I'm on a roll!...See MoreNeed help filling empty wall space around TV etc!
Comments (23)Well, I was going to suggest the ubiquitous fiddle leaf fern, but looks like you have a cat, and they are toxic to cats. You might Google plants that are non-toxic to cats and see if anything grabs your interest. I think some palms may be ok with cats (and they can grow fairly large), or you might look for a contemporary plant stand and just sit a smaller plant on it -- maybe a giant tropical bromeliad or something along those lines. That said, if your cat is prone to pester plants, it's probably not a good idea to include one in your décor. (Definitely don't put a fake plant in this pretty space.)...See MoreHello. Comments (11)I appreciate all the comments. I bought house with the ceiling cord thing. We had few electricians come out and they state would be process to cut into ceiling. I’m working on other solution. I also stated I know I have to much dark wood. I had white or lighter in my dining room and got many people who didn’t like it. But I’m getting dif liv room tables. I agree with other person I have too much seating. I think I’ll end up with long sofa and just 2 chairs. Rest will go. I already have my paint. A light grey. Quite honestly we like our tv there and company does too. It works for us. Sorry people. Lol We use to have sm tv in din rm and no tv in liv. Plus I would like to put a fireplace insert on grey wall if it can be done. We only plan on only staying for 3-5 years so don’t want to put a lot more money as we just did kitchen. I’m just crazy on furniture ideas basically. . I know this liv room is a working progress. Thanks to all....See Morespace and light strobe dilemma.. pls help 2
