Annie, my neighbour Cheryl and I just tell ourselves we're keeping the neighbourhood safe. :-)

I'm not at the point though where one lady watches every single movement and will often mention to Cheryl that she saw her and I going walking, saw me bring something to Cheryl, etc etc.

Eld replying to Annie's picture and comment. I keep tabs on the neighbourhood too of sorts. But I don't care if someone goes back and forth visiting. The one lady always comments on the fact that she saw me and Cheryl going back and forth with things.

salonva -- Come ON! We're supposed to believe that a dog *backed* into that tight space? One of our Westie pups was forever nosing behind our washer, then crying for help because he didn't know how to back out.

We have the ”neighborhood watch” person, too, as well as a group I call The Board of Directors. They sit on lawn chairs in front of one house and drink wine and watch everyone come and go.

Our neighborhood watch is "the Mayor and Mrs. Cravats" I live directly across the street from them. I know nobody is going to get in house. LOL

So funny. Ours is diagonally across. “G” knows the ins and outs. He has alias names for various neighbors. We are June and Ward. Could be worse.

Mom had a condo one town over and D was the self appointed mayor and watch person. She tried not to let it bother her when he would walk by her windows with a letter in his hand pretending to need to go to the mailbox. But what floored her was the time she came home and had her arms full of grocery bags so she managed to get the key in the door and the door open and left her key there while she went to the kitchen to unload. She turns around and there is D reminding her that she left her key in the door and that that was not a good idea!! Sheesh!!

That smile to close out leads me to intuit that you figure that that laughing balloon may sometimes be used to contain other than water, Annie ...
