Try looking at Lorts Furniture. You can choose from a variety of stains. I ordrered this table from Lorts (still waiting on delivery) Tey also have this one - one side of the table top lifts for storage- Try looking at the site below for more Lorts stuff - I found that it wasn't easy to find a sqaure or round coffee table. I have a large sturdy coffee table in my family room...often at parties I don't put anything on it and people sit on it, it's really great for that, I never worry about it breaking. Other times I serve appetizers on it. I bought it years ago at an unfinished furniture store and stained it myself. It is fully covered with a fabric throw and I have magazines hidden on the lower level. :-)

Might I suggest solid drapery, and I agree with the others, go HIGH! But add some trimming to the drapery. It creates a delicious custom look. And it's a timeless. While patterns come and go...trends fade away, this classic look will stand the test of time.
