Is it just me, or is no one disappearing in the Bermuda Triangle anymore?

Ordinarily I'm not a fan if tattoos. But, this made me smile:

I have a cousin who is a wonderful tattoo artist and has done some incredible things. Though I'm not a fan of the medium, I do like his artwork. But I've found that people love talking about their tats and the meaning behind them. I've gotten into very interesting conversations that way....there's always a back story.

Annie, I agree. For me though when a person is covered in tattoos, it is distracting. All I do is look at that instead of the person.

I prefer just a few sprinkled here and there. And when they have extra special meaning it makes sense to me.

When I see brides with off the shoulder gowns and their chest and upper back are covered in tattoos it sure takes away from the dress. It's all I can look at, and to me it's not a pretty sight.

I always wonder if its rude to ask someone about their tattoos, especially if its a stranger. I guess its the same as admiring jewelry. Anyway, here’s an oldie:

It is strange how a body covered with fabric...not distracting, but covered with tats? Distracting. Part of what's so distracting for me is the black ink. They do give white ink tats too which are far more subtle, but my cousin doesn't like them as they don't show as much. He says, for all the pain you go through, you want it to show.

I have a scar where I had a schwanoma removed from my leg and it's in a perfect location on my calf for a tat. I've thought about getting one to cover it, but then I read about how the inks migrate into the body. Seeing as I already have 2 autoimmune disorders, I don't want to aggravate my system any more. But it might be fun to have him draw something on there with a flair sometime just to see how it would look.
