Comments (8)Nice shed! Don't think you'll be disappointed with Cabot's product. I used in on our cedar privacy fence (semi) after using Behr for years and having to recoat it too frequently (for me, anyway). Cabot's is holding up much better so I'll stick with it for exterior stains. Especially as far as being water repellent, tho I do get a bit of mold after a long while below north facing horizontal supports, it's nothing compared to what would show up on Behr stain....See MoreHardwood floor stain color - advice
Comments (3)I recommend the finish as the only thing on the flooring. You will want to use the highest priced water based finish you can afford (oil based or oil modified products turn orange...which would be a snick lighter than what you have now). You would have the refinisher put down two coats of gloss and then a finishing coat of the matte. Comments (2)Do you like the current color? keep it natural and use a good varnish on the hood cover. keeping it natural: Or, try a walnut stain if you want something a bit darker. Hopefully it will darken the lighter parts just enough to blend in the stripes without darkening the darker portion too much they did the walnut on this hickory flooring these are espresso, dark walnut and jacobean. try it on the back of the hood to see if it works butcher block gets oiling or something like Waterlox....See MoreLaney
