Hmmmm, Jasdip.....I'm torn. Part of me reluctantly agrees that maybe these have run their course, mostly because I hate the thought of you spending too much time scouring the internet just to keep us challenged. On the other hand, I have come to love this little community and our twice per week interactions. This and the weekend music threads (and sometimes the daily quiz if I'm quick enough with something funny to say or think I have a good guess) are the only ones I regularly post to. I read many of the others, but try to stay far, far away from my keyboard with anything that can get political, opinionated or contentious. I do always read the daily smile posts, but always the next morning because I don't want to miss any of them.

Maybe I will make a better point of contributing to the daily quizzes.....

Anyway, thank you for all you do and all you've done for us!!!

You are definitely getting better! And I think that's a big part of the reason they're coming easier to you.

I too like this little group that has formed. There's a lot of bantering, comradery, helping each other out with clues that I really like.

I'll do my best to keep searching, as I also like posting them and seeing what you come up with.

I’ve had a hectic few weeks and haven’t been looking at KT too much.

One of my horses, Shadow, 26 years old, died suddenly ☹️and between trying to get a pal for my other horse, Chex, also 26 years old and not being home as much I’ve been pretty inconsistent in my postings.

But, yes your quizzes are always fun.

I'm still missing three of them but will have to come back.

Thanks, letters. I’ve had both horses for over 23 years and they have been the best of pals. Shadow had been showing signs of Cushings which is common in older horses. A week and a half ago he came to the fence with Chex in the morning, ate his hay and that afternoon I noticed Chex running the fence line whickering and squealing. I went to check on them and Shadow was lying down dead. It looked like he had lay down to sleep and just didn’t wake up. 😢

Anyhow, Chex has been very lonely.

I’ve moved Chex to a neighbour’s place as she has a 29 year old gelding who has been kept company by a herd of cows since his horse pal died last month.

They hit it off right away so that was good.🤠 But now I have no horses at my place any more.☹️

Rox, I'm so sorry!!! A friend of mine has 2 horses 32 and 33!!! They're too old to ride, but she enjoys them. They're boarded out of town, so it's a big deal for her to go daily and tend to them.

Oh, Rox, I'm so sorry. I'm glad Chex has a new Buddy, but now you need... Maybe a kitten? We can never have enough kitten pics.

Confession. I have never had a cat. Frankly, they are too smart for me and kind of scare me.

I’m not sure of my B2 guess either. Jasdip, these are always fun, even if they are repeats. Rox, I’m sorry you’ve lost one of your horses and don’t have them nearby.

I’ve been absent a good bit lately too. We went to Asheville on a little getaway, then to visit friends in SC. And I have a dear friend of about 40 years who has been diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer (never smoked) and is in daily Hospice care right now. She became very ill very suddenly and I and her many other friends have tried to be by her side as much as possible.

I always enjoy these puzzles no matter what.

and so much sadness. So sorry you lost a horse Roxol. That has to be hard and not to have any around. And Outside, how sad for your friend. That has to be a real shock.

Chex is at a neighbour’s so it isn’t far for me to go. It’s about 5 kilometres and easy to detour by when I go out.

I think that I have all the puzzles today but am torn between two guesses for the MAN one.

Jasdip, whatever pleases you is fine by me. I do enjoy the puzzles, and I think I might've guessed them all this time - we'll see if I'm correct, tho 😏

And please accept my condolences on the loss of your horse, roxsol. and your friend's suffering, Outside.

Roxsol, among my cats I've had 4 neutered males. Two were dumb, one was meh, and one was so smart we thought he was part dog. Maybe try a neutered male. (And btw, my dumb cats were also light-colored, the other two were tuxedos. I wonder if tuxes are smarter, besides being smarter-dressed?)

Outside, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. It sounds like she is not up to doing these puzzles with you, either, as a diversion.

I think I have all but the first one.

Jasdip, I agree with everyone else here, do what you want to. So what if the puzzles seem easier or are repeats. Maybe some who haven't been playing will join in, and the 'repeats' will be new to them.

Rox, so sorry about your horse. Have you considered finding a rescue to replace him?

bpath, I think you could be onto something with tuxedo cats. There’s nothing like a snappy outfit to boost one’s self esteem. I really like cats but I think for now I will just enjoy my grand kitty Monty.

Rusty, I would have taken Buddy if my neighbour hadn’t taken Chex. It is just good that neither one of them are alone and the bonus is is that she has grandchildren that ride and they are loving him. He’s got great ground manners and is very good with children.

It is my opinion that a horse should never be alone in a pasture. They depend on each other for so much.

Nope, no rescue horses for me. They really can be a lot of work. Thank goodness for those folks who do that though. 💕

Rox, my neutered female cats have been wonderful.

Back to the puzzle, still thinking about B2. Hmm.

And jasdip, any time you want to do a rerun, well, I'm up for that. DH has to remind me what movies we've seen. Right now we are rewatching The Usual Suspects, and just a few things are coming back to me lol
