I need help with exterior paint color! please!
Comments (5)The brick is interesting and varied. The red roof is the problem since so much of it shows. The previous owners did a nice job of trimming the window with a dark red paint, and the siding color is actually nice. If you're going to replace the roof, change your paint out then. A warm darker brown roof would look great, then you could paint the house sage with the dark red trim. Visual tricks you can do now: --Paint the garage the same color as you have now. That way the brick and siding won't stand out so much. --Put two dark red Adirondack chairs on the porch and paint your front door and storm to match. --Go to a gardening center to have them design a deep, curvy bed for the front on the house with some deep red perennials (or a small red Japanese maple) and other perennials shrubs. It'll change the whole look of the house....See MoreI need exterior paint help ASAP please!!!!
Comments (6)I think black/charcoal trim will be too stark of a contrast. I would do the sage green that you posted above with the bottom "white" of your paint samples, which looks like the softest white...and closest to all of your inspirations....See MoreI need help with exterior paint ideas
Comments (2)Hi, I would like to repaint my car door and the bump out of our front windows. Our window frames are brown and will not be changed or painted. The bump out and garage door is a dated worn out brown colour. I recently did my door colour. Any suggestions of benjamin moore exterior paint colours would be appreciated.I was thinking about pulling out a grey from our multi brick colours but am unsure. Pictures are posted in comments....See MoreHelp! I need to pick an exterior paint !
Comments (12)Very nice house! and I lke the colour of the siding but would paint all trim white along with the front door and garage. I suggest you update the ramp above the front door and porch with one that's not too formal looking, and replace your sconces with black larger ones. A natural fibre runner would look nice on the stairs. It looks like the windows at the back of the house are already painted white. To give your garage at the back more of a pool house look, I suggest you install a white pergola along the front and replace the garage door with a more interesting looking one. If not used as a garage, perhaps you can replace it with modern looking french doors with all glass panels....See MoreZana Mous
