Comments (18)Just now getting on for the first time today! So no pictures from today, but we had a very eventful day yesterday. Our resident momma deer had twins in the morning!! Luckily she picked a backyard of a guy that just left on vacation and she should be able to get the youngsters up and running before he gets back. They are adorable!! First one if with both babies. Very hard to get a better picture without spooking the new family. Second one shows one of the babies a little better. Comments (25)My exchange student and I redid the dining room chairs this weekend. I bought the material from somewhere, I think, Nicole had recommended. Thank you! The hardest part was taking out all the staples. There were so many and so many broke when pulling them up. The chairs are all done now, legs tightened. They just have to last a couple more years. I'm going to replace the dining set when I replace my kitchen. I thought I saw a Queen butterfly on my zinnias recently. Today that was confirmed when I found this caterpillar on my aquatic milkweed. A Monarch cat only has 2 sets of antenna vs. 3 on Queens.
