Comments (3)I would suggest that it is very deep in the pot, and most likely in peat/very peaty soil. It looks like it has 'shrunken' from side of the pot (that's what it looks like in the photo) - peat does that when too dry. It is very difficult to re-wet . In the long run, it would be best to re-pot it into better mix, and keep it higher + more potting mix to set the plant into. Succulents need well draining potting medium and also good air circulation and having plant so low in the pot doesn't help with it. I wouldn't remove the offset yet, let it grow bigger. It could be left there for good, or separated when it gets bigger. For better ID, post a photo when blooms open. Office light may or may not be enough, depends how strong light is. Are the lights on 24/7? - plants appreciate some good night sleep:)...See MoreHelp ID please

Comments (5)Thank you all for your comments! Peren.all, I think you are right about the Botrychium multifidum and the Verbesina occidentalis. I took the second photo of the orchid-looking leaf yesterday because it looked different to me from the Tipularia (which seems to be all over the place). I don't know if it is important, but the leaf seemed to taper to the short stem, whereas the Tipularia I have seen have more of a rounded stem end (don't know the botanical terms - sorry). I thought this morning that I should have turned it over to see the back color, so I went out to find it. Unfortunately, the gps app that I was relying on in my phone is not as accurate as I had hoped. If I ever find the leaf, I will flag it! Macranthos and jekeesl, it may be the Aplectrum hyemale you both thought, but I don't see anything in the descriptions I find that mentions the tapering of Aplectrum vs round bottom of Tipularia leaves. Jekeesl, I think I will have to wait until warm weather to get more pictures about the third plant. It might be Eurybia. Thanks again to you all....See Moreintwilight z6a KS
