Spartacus and American Halo? Whatever they are, they are gorgeous.

They are beauties!! The one on the right in the top pic reminds me a bit of American Haloalso. That single leaf pic looks like one I have thatI can’t access right now, but here’s a pic ofit now before it’s totally unfurled. The leaves blue up as thesummer progresses.

There were several sports of Elegans released years back under one name and they ended up being quite different. Northern exposure? Northern halo? They been distributed under different names.

So instead of just googling I remembered the Hosta Library and went there, and it does seem that either American Halo or Northern Exposure/Halo could be contenders. I just don't remember those names but I guess that doesn't really mean anything! I'll continue to look through my old notes and records and see what I can find.

Interestingly, my friend just moved and invited me to take stuff from her garden. Three days ago I took a baby Northern Exposure (literally about two leaves) because I thought the coloring was lovely. Funny if this is what I already have!
