I like the top lamp better because I prefer symmetry, but the second one would also look good on your table top. I do think there are too many objects on it, though. Many items together will lose interest! I would keep the picture, the brass animal ( or a larger one if possible), the tray for keys, and a lamp. Maybe also the little plant. Place three things together and one or two alone, with space in between.

wow your choices are almost identical to mine. We also got the Godmorgon vanity (but in walnut) as we felt we were doing so much gray and white everywhere, we needed to warm it up with a different tone. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but I'd probably pick gray over white, because the vanity top will be white as well. We have a very small bathroom and I don't feel the dark vanity really makes it feel claustrophobic!

Hi s y, I can't say how much I love this space! It's been amazing, but there are a few irritations that I need to remedy. One big one is the fact that it's detached from my house, with no good covered pathway between the two. I often find myself jumping out of bed because I forgot to lock things up, which isn't bad in the summer, but during Oregon's rainy season, well you can imagine. :) I'm researching solutions that will allow me to remotely control the door lock, heater, music and lights. I'm looking closely at the Brilliant Smart Home solutions.
