Karajini National Park (all parks in Oz are national, but most are managed by the state, in this case, Western Australia)

Mount Washington in New Hampshire. Highest peak east of the Mississippi and highest measured wind speed not associated with a tornado or cyclone at 231 mph.

Not having states, or therefore state parks, I'll just go with a designated AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.) These are Dartmoor Ponies doing their job of keeping down scrub, not on Dartmoor but in the Mendip Hills.

floral, I so enjoy watching "Escape to the Country" and seeing the beautiful parks in the UK...I've been to London and the West Country, but there's so much more to see. I hope to go back some day. My dream for my dotage would be to live in one of those castles that have been converted into separate residences on these incredible and well maintained grounds so I can enjoy the countryside and the architecture without the work and the expense.
