You replace the tub, because there’s no other cheaper time to do it, and a new tub is under 1K.

If this is just a cosmetic fix then I would find a print shower curtain that has the cream and white along with other colors. Choose the paint color from the curtain. Teal may not be the color.

Hello! I second the floral shower curtain as I had this problem before I remodeled my bathroom. Nothing matched. I suggest something like this Floral Shower Curtain. Also, you may want to consider hanging your shower curtains near the ceiling which creates some drama. I did this after I finally remodeled my 1980s bathroom. The curtains are just regular curtains that I got for $40 from IKEA. They are 96." long. I purchased inexpensive black shower curtain liners from Amazon. They are 84" long. I have had them for almost a year and no problem with moisture, etc. I have attached a photo of my remodeled bathroom which now looks bigger, but trust me, it's petite! Hope it helps! 🌿

The idea would be to have the curtain be long enough to cover the tub, skimming the floor.

I would look into having a seamtress make me something long enough.

Works just ok if it is a tub that doesn't get used. If you use it replace it now.

I think for now I'll have to just choose a pretty shower curtain. All I want to do is keep it relatively simple for now.

Lynda, I love what you did to your bathroom. Your shower curtains are very sophisticated. Did you say they are actual window curtains? I would think the black would make the bathroom appear smaller but your bathroom looks large. I also love the black accessories. Faucets, shower rod, etc. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Jennifer, your bathroom is lovely. I love that refreshing 'clean' look with it's straight lines. My bathroom has the same or similar layout. Just above my toilet, there is an ugly white medicine cabinet. I would love to remove it but where do you keep your medicines etc.? Thanks for sharing your photos. There are long shower curtains available without going custom. I got one at Anthropology.

I actually don't keep medicine in my bathroom. Never have. I keep my daily meds in the kitchen and take them with breakfast and before I retire at night. Other meds I keep on a shelf in my linen closet where everything can be in Tupperware containers labeled by ailment.

Other things are kept in my vanity drawers.

I think that is a great idea! Something for me to definitely consider.
