It was delish, and we were FULL. I could not finish my cheesecake, and I brought home half my pasta dish (pasta carbonara without the chicken) for lunch tomorrow. I don't have room for dinner yet. Sooo full still.

I talked to her this evening. She said that it was a real thrill to be there, that the interior of the building is beautiful and very impressive, and that the meeting did not go as well as they had hoped. She is 4'11" and adopted.

It is nice when KT people can get together. We're spending the week at our place in northeast PA so it was only a 30 or so mile drive to met Susan at a restaurant. My husband and I had been cutting logs into rounds for 2 days so I told him I wanted a fun day. The kids come up tonight so tomorrow it's back to firewood duty - we rented a hydraulic log splitter and we're planning on getting 2 or 3 cords of wood split and stacked for the winter. I feel like the productive country mouse from the children's fable.

In a nutshell--I ate enough for the rest of the day, Diane and Leslie look younger than last year (how do you do that?), Ms. Nita (Leslie's mom) was a pleasure to dine with and some people from the kt might have ringing ears today!( lol, oh maybe a little ringing.) Thanks for getting us together for our yearly food feast and chat. It worked great today, especially after getting the girls off to 4-h camp. Our picture looks pretty good, better than the floor shot too! ;) (LOL)
