Hayes oak is beachy/ drift wood vibe. Diffucult to get a picture of it. It is lighter and is not as uneven in person. It is also much lighter. But definetely not white oak. Looks lime Cortec has quite a few light oak choices in various collections. This time maybe just but one box and lay it out. We were lucky in that we actually saw Hayes in a home. And, we were going in a whole other color wave before seeing it.

Has anyone found a good quality Oak laminate flooring? I have been looking at NuCore LVP Cork and it looks great on the sample board..I also seen Mohawk but never seen it fully installed. Can anyone share some pictures or insights? Attach is a picture of the NuCore I saw at Floor&Decor

I ended up going with special walnut. One coat with a satin water based poly (not shiny). We love it. After the floor stainer put samples down of the lighter colors it really did look pink. I feared having my whole house “being ruined” so I went with the “safer” color and I couldn’t be happier. Someone gave me the advice that most of your hardwood floors will be eventually covered by area rugs anyways so no need to stress! The picture was taken at night with overhead lighting on. Not the best time to take a photo but you get the idea! Good luck!!!

I would look at Madrid Oak or Wilshire Oak. 9x72 like Cyril but much more budget friendly. The main difference is the core. the Pro SPC rigid cores are much less expensive.
