Pull down the bushes first and get a better look at the house after they’re down. I do not think a wood railing for the porch is worth the money as long as the current iron railing is stable and secure. The money and time you’d spend on that would be better spent on paint for the siding. Since the strong brown roof is about half the facade (and it’s staying for awhile), I would suggest you match that color as closely as possible and then look for a tan color down the paint strip from that. Not a very light brown but something less than medium saturated. Consider a light blue/green/yellow door and get rid of or get a new storm door with less aluminum showing — maybe wood painted the same color but with a lot of glass /screen surface. No shutters because you don’t have the wall space to make them the appropriate size. Get a larger light fixture that hooks out from the house. What is the black blob next to the front door? Take all that off and find some large decorative house numbers

Absolutely remove the awnings. No shutters. Shutters don’t belong on double windows.

I agree with little bug about the shutters. Even if purely decorative, each shutter should cover half the window, as if they might actually be operable. I would only remove the awnings if they don’t serve a purpose, such as shielding the interior from harsh sunlight. Also, in my climate, wooden railings that are not under a covered area would not survive the elements. Is that the case where you live? It might me best to keep them metal. I would place my focus on landscaping.

Here’s an inspiring landscape idea. Curved beds add a lot of curb appeal. I think a good way to get a lot of bang for your buck, is to add plants in a color you love, and paint your storm door to match.
