MSI quartz - durability and long-lasting?
Comments (12)I sell MSI, Cambria, Caesarstone, & a couple of others. I haven't had any complaints with MSI, but that's not to say I haven't heard of them around the circuit. If it were my kitchen, my money would go to Cambria. I often get quotes for each product for my clients in order to find best option for colour & price. Cheaper is not always the best choice. A lot of people think Cambria is more expensive, & often it is, however, it depends on the colour & it's pricing level. Have you priced out Cambria or Caesarstone? You may be surprised to find that a Cambria colour is less expensive. I've had it happen to the surprise of my clients. It's also hard to beat their colour choices. Cambria also has one of, if not the best, warranties of the lot. Their stain & scratch tests have revealed a lot to me when comparing the others....See MoreKitchen Counter tops - Cost of MSI quartz and quartzite
Comments (5)In my area, $79 a sq foot is on the very lowest side of what I see in Atlanta (that requires going outside the city a bit - nowhere inside the metro area has prices that low, I don't think anyway). Perhaps b/c you are getting such a small amount and it is coming from a remnant? I agree with other poster's comments though - pick one or the other; don't mix. It will look like you didn't have enough money to put the quartzite everywhere. If you want to mix and match something, have the cabinets in the island be a different color, or wood and the perimeter white or cream (not sure what you are going for so just throwing out ideas)....See MoreMSI quartz quality- really bad??
Comments (14)Here's the kitchen we have that I posted a few years back. MSI Quartz Carrarra Grigio has held up really really well. Cleans easily, no stains, no fuss. We just use a damp cloth, and clean up with an all purpose cleaner. Once in a while, maybe some diluted bleach. https://www.houzz.com/discussions/3576931/ikea-sektion-reveal...See MoreCambria vs. MSI Quartz
Comments (30)We are so so close to finalizing the cambria sutherland. Our kitchen set up is soft cream cabinets all around and a hale navy island. we liked the gray tones of the sutherland but looking at the actual stone today, got a bit concerned if it will be too blue? we want a timeless countertop that we dont get tired of looking at. The sutherland looks great but would love actual feedback from anyone if it is more gray with slight blue tone or does it bring out more blue when paired with a blue island? any input will be super super helpful....See MoreK R
