They would look stupid on 1-2 windows and you dont have enough space for properly sized shutters.

IMO the arched window is all wrong for the house circular drivae ways work best when done on a huge lot where it will not intefere with really good attractive landscaping and I do not think it would work on your city type lot. Leave the driveway where it is and do a nice walkway from teh street to the front door a much nicer look than all driveway.

Shutters wouldn’t work well with the brick trim around your windows.

Your arched window is not ”all wrong for the house”. Good grief.

You need a consult with a local pro for driveway/sidewalk, etc, advice. Not people looking at photos here. There’s more to it than just aesthetics. And there are plenty of yards your size (and smaller) with circular drives that look great, it most certainly can be done … but again, a real pro will need to access it in person.

Your house is lovely, not boring at all. Bring in some colorful plants when you can. Hire a landscape pro to give the best advice for your situation.

There are a few posters here who have automatic, knee-jerk ”You can't do that” reactions to every thread they see, no matter what … as well as insults over things no one asked about (and usually can’t change). It gets old.

The house structure is not boring at all. I would completely revamp your front walkway and pull it out and away from your foundation adding beds along it, and completely redo the landscaping. Not to offend, but that is what makes your extremely pretty house look boring. A well thought out landscaping design would completely change the look of your home.

Firstly you don’t want any loose rocks especially with dogs- it will track into the house, the lawn, etc. ugh. Secondly I love a circle drive and we added one to our home. You need to have enough width to have a wide diameter circle, but then you can fill the half circle leftover with trees - mainly you need a major landscape/ hard scape plan. The house itself is perfectly nice the way it is.

I actually think properly fitted/functional shutters on the arched and rectangular windows of the right and left "wings" of the house could help balance out excessive visual space the wide center window occupies. The (magnolia?) tree just right of the drive doesn't look good. I would remove it and plant an nice ornamental tree about 20' out from the arched window. A wide sidewalk to the street will be an improvement, as will a parking/turning pad left of the drive. Here's an example of the arched shutters. The other side would just be squared off.

You have a great house, it's not boring at all. Shutters would not add anything. Because they wouldn't work on most of the windows, they'd look funny.

Circle driveways usually put a lot of asphalt in your yard. Since almost all new cars have backup cameras, reversing out of a driveway is easier than ever.
