Comments (13)Two is the recommendation for dining at a 36" table. You would probably do best with getting two real dining chairs which wouldn't crowd the space literally and figuratively. If you regularly need to seat more than two for dinner, you would probably need a larger table - at least 40". You can always get two nice folding or stacking chairs - depending on storage and seat people on those but 36" is really more for two....See Moreh.e.l.p. ... Comments (36)Rug a bit complicated, I'd think dining set should be more the same [finishes of, etc..] e.g., maybe the table could stay dark but all else the linen/ beige upholstery.
