Lake Michigan Themed Bedroom, Bathroom

We’re redoing the master bedroom and want to create a space that subtly reminds us of the colors and moods of Lake Michigan. We pass by the master bath when entering the bedroom, so we’d like the two rooms to complement each other. The bathroom has that peachy-pink mid century modern title on the walls, which we plan to keep. So we’re thinking about colors that include various shades of blue and/or green, along with a bit of peach to tie in the bathroom tile. (Lake Michigan sunrises and sunsets, right?!) Here’s one possible color scheme: https://middleearmedia.com/frigid-wave-color-palette/

We have dark cherry headboard and dressers which, due to to budget constraints, need to stay for now. The headboard could be painted; the dressers are antique and shouldn’t be painted. The floor is oak; it could be refinished and we could get an area rug OR we could carpet the whole bedroom.

The bedroom is our main focus at this time, but we will eventually make changes in the bathroom. The bathroom vanity is painted white; in the future we will upgrade to a white (marble?) countertop in there. There is peach tile on the bathroom floor which we’ll probably remove; we’re open to suggestions for bathroom floor material/color. The house is very traditional and we definitely want to keep that character. Doors and trim throughout the house are painted white, and we’ll continue that in these two rooms.

I’d especially appreciate direction about paint color for the bedroom and bathroom walls. They don’t need to be the same but definitely need to harmonize with each other. Any suggestions for bedding, window treatments, and art are a bonus.
