the finishes are fine[if that's what you like]. However I think the dimension and shape of the hardware in the kitchen ,[ in this picture ] are not great with your specifics. Keep the gold hardware, if you desire.....but at least reduce the pull size: generally seek a softer/different scale/shape. These are too modern, and others are probably available. there are more warmer finishes to choose from, which means more configurations.

Both the Champagne Bronze Delta faucets and the Brizo stainless steel faucets we bought were above the cost of what you could get a standard faucet for in stainless steel with a traditional design. However, we were able to maximize discounts by shopping online for the lowest prices which sometimes involve a percentage off discount sale since Delta/Brizo and other brands put a cap on how low resellers can advertise the list prices. Also be aware that some faucets being ordered online right now are being delayed weeks out due to lower capacities in manufacturing and shipping delays due to the pandemic. Our faucet order placed last week is projected to arrive in 3 weeks. If cost is a big concern, maybe the polished nickel might be a compromise after all, but again, polished nickel is frequently higher in cost than stainless steel, so if it was the gold/brass color you really wanted, then polished nickel is only getting you halfway to that goal for an increased cost anyway.

for some reason, not all the top knobs "honey bronze" are the same color for the different styles, which is super frustrating. Some styles are closer to the brizo luxe gold and others look more like a real "gold". Like the bar pull that I wanted is more gold rather than the color that brizo luxe gold is, unfortunately. order the exact hardware style you want in that color and see if it's a match. another thread is warning about this. good thing is that the photos on the website seem to show a difference in color and as long as the actual product looks that color, you may be able to differentiate on the website before ordering

The longest lasting, MOST timeless/easiest maintenance plumbing/baths finish is still polished chrome. Indeed, metals have taken on warmth in design- and mixing metals is great. "Gold" is actually a warm brass finish theses days, It is not the 80's brassy tone, and it need not imply formality at all. Much depends on the feel you want in your bath. But if it's a refresh intended for forever? I'd do chrome. Add accents in another finish or metal. Best with chrome? Matte black, or even that very burnished brass or gild. I'd skip accents in Polished nickel, brushed nickel, or oil rubbed bronze. Satin nickel looks great with matte black......burnished brass..... as well. But the gleam of polished chrome in a bath is both timeless, and lovely. And affords a very, very, WIDE selection as well. Again..........it depends on the overall style and feel you desire at the finish.. Chrome and....................below. Keeping to two finishes only will make life easier : )
