need help finding faucet to match kwc sin
Comments (21)I spend a long time looking at faucets. I wanted a good quality faucet. I also needed/wanted a faucet that pull out. Otherwise, it would not be functional for me. I pull out, clean the sink etc. I wanted to be able to reach pretty far. For example, I fill a large pot of water with the pot on the countertop so I do not have to lift up the full pot from the sink! This meant that many of the high arc "cool looking" faucets were out for me. Many of the 'pro faucets' that have spring loaded head have very short reach, although they look cool. I also wanted to have the faucet in spray mode without holding down the switch. Many of the models require that you physically push the toggle to go into spray. As soon as you let go, it goes into stream. This was no no to me! I needed the spray so I could rinse dishes and vegies under the running stream of spray. I don't want water running in stream mode only... That left me very few models that looked good, was a good quality and still satisfied me. I ended up with a KWC Ono. Comments (46)Do you have a friend who has a pull-down that you might be able to try? Will that sprayer stay on spray or do you have to keep the handle pressed down? I always had a side spray before but now that I have a pull-down I don't ever want to be without one! I defrosted some shrimp tonight and it was so nice to be able to pull the faucet head down close to my colander, set it to spray and walk away for a few minutes. The pull-down is nicely balanced so that it stays at whatever height I put it. It's so much more convenient to quickly pull it down and be able to reach every corner of my sink when I wash it. Mine goes back up into place very easily and securely, no twisting or fiddling with it required....See MoreCan anyone recommend a pull down faucet to match these pulls?
Comments (9)Thank you everyone. I really appreciate it. I’ve checked many of the websites you have all advised, and all of the gold finish faucets are out of stock. I’m struggling to find a faucet. I did find a Kraus, however, it’s really tall and you can pull it down into the sink. All of the reviews complained of how water flies everywhere due to not being able to pull it down deeper in the sink. I want to truly be able to use it, so that won’t work for us. It’s $350 so I’m not going to buy it just to have a faucet. I’ll keep looking....See MoreSay NO to Brizo Luxe gold
Comments (45)I posted up thread and we've been in the house 9 months now. The Lux Gold fixtures still look the same as they did when first installed. I think the color between mine is pretty consistent, but hard to judge once installed on different surfaces/areas and lighting conditions. I was aware the finish could vary a bit simply by seeing the samples in the showroom! Some samples looked more champagne and others more coppery. I have 3 different brands in the master shower, so a slight difference in the finish doesn't bother me. I have Lux Gold 2 thermostatic valve controls, 2 volume controls. These other components in the shower have very similar finishes, Speakman shower head, Jaclo Shower/grab bar, Jaclo handheld shower head and hose, Jaclo shower door handles, Kartners shower and soap baskets. It would take you a few minutes to notice that the finishes are 98-99% matches instead of 100% and most people would never notice....See MoreRelated Professionals
