You have to upload the picture to a photo hosting like like photobucket.com or similar. Most sites are free and just take a minute to set up. You can then copy the html code into the message and it will show.

Well what I found out is that its hard to find info on furniture from this era (between the wars). There's tons of info on Victorian furniture and mid-century modern is quite trendy these days, but 20s and 30s stuff tends to get overlooked. I went to the main Chicago public library downtown looking for info. I found a grand total of one book that was about art deco era furniture. Now that book happened to have a picture of a couch that was virtually identical to mine. The only difference was mine has the fancy flower carving on the arms and this one had the "rope" carving all around. I'm guessing that mine was the slightly more expensive version. This book dated the couch to the mid 20s but didn't give a manufacturer. The best place to look for that is in original sources, old Sears and Wards catalogs are great. They're hard to come by though. The only reason I know that mine had red plush upholstery is that the grandchildren of the original owners mentioned it to me. Good luck with your reupholstery. Mark, I understand where you are coming from and I agree printing costs are very expensive, but in today's world a manufacturers can post a PDF online or create an app. There is really no need to print any catalogs anymore. It appears more and more manufacturers are moving this way, I just wish they all were. And there ARE lots of cabinetry lines, maybe not hundreds, but a lot. Just go on KCMA. They list 22 manufactures distributed in the USA with multiple brands and then some brands have multiple lines. Master brand alone has 14 brands with several sub-lines. As a customer when you start add all the brands and lines it is a lot and I was speaking from my experience in trying to weed out the pack and not waste my time or others.

HI -- If it is the high backed one ... it is probably custom made and you could have one made at a good upholstery design shop . Or it could be just an hospitality piece ... office and hotel furniture . The other sofa in photo is really not visible . And I am wondering why you like this ? Lots of good quality furniture out there if you keep looking .
