30 day (paint, floors, game room to bed conversion) enough time?
Comments (5)As others have posted, it's entirely possible to put down flooring and paint within a 30 day period if you have all materials ready and have the contractor scheduled for a specific time frame. The issue is whether you can get all that in place before your time frame starts running. Many people paint and change flooring before moving in with that time frame because it is so intrusive and difficult to manage after moving in. With regard to the bedroom conversion, that could be possible but I personally would prioritize lower because it's the kind of work that can be done after you've moved in with less difficulty unless there is some kind of specific reason why you would need the conversion done immediately since people can occupy a space without a door or closet on a temporary basis....See More4 chair conversation area in living or family room ideas

Comments (3)What is the largest fixed window size for a 10’ x 10’x 12’ opening? Ask someone that sells windows. The floor needs to be leveled (drops off by about 2 inches towards the outer edge) and raised to the level of the interior floor. How can this be done in the safest way? Why do you ask about "the safest way"? What is your concern? What is the typical cost associated with a project of this scope? There is no "typical cost". One contractor suggested adding a 6-7” concrete slab atop the existing 4” slab. This seemed like overkill to us. What's your concern? Your other option is wood. Comments (7)Is there a reason why you are looking for 1 very large piece of furniture rather than 3 or 4 smaller pieces of furniture? If I were a guest at your home, and both end seats of your curved couch were already occupied, I’d rather sit on the floor than on your couch....See MoreUser
