Sam, left, is teaching Bella where and how to sit while Papa is cooking.

Comments (23)So far, it's really not hard. It's time consuming, and you have to be comfortable with paper piecing, but not hard. It does require curved piecing, but that's manageable in smaller sections. I have the wedges into 3 quarters now...making progress....See MoreBella Bella is finished!

I was just in Venice a couple months ago, and in St. Mark's Cathedral, I took the following picture of the floor. It really resembles many of the patterns in the book, minus everyone's feet.
