Thanks, im thinking of even looking at larger 3x12” white shiny tiles (maybe no variation in color, but not sure if a larger size would work better better) My rug is from Loloi, it comes in lots of different sizes. I believe the color is Olive and Charcoal. In person, there is a bit more dark olive and charcoal in there. I also oircha a 9x12’ for one of our living rooms - I love it!

I think I'm going with Tile Bar's portmore (aka Ivy Hill's Kingston at Wayfair and Home Depot, though the boxes from Wayfair say Harmony. For that matter, the tile on the back from both Tile Bar and Wayfair say Harmony). anyway, it's a bunch of different whites that seem to go well with my White Dove (BM)-ish cabinets.

If you have tested the color, like it and it goes with your other elements, then no reason not to try it. Use different sheen for the paints. I like matte for walls, semi-gloss for trim and flat for ceilings. What color are your ceilings? You might have to tweak that color as well.
