I also use a granular. Easiest way I have found is to use an empty Kraft hard cheese "shaker". The one in my refrigerator says Parmesan. (8 oz.) Holds a pound of my fertilizer, lid unscrews to enable filling with fertilizer, half the top flips up, leaving shaker holes perfect for dispensing fertilizer. I grow almost all crops on raised rows, so digging a trench six inches away from the plants is not practical. I do have an irrigation drip tube "groove" running down each row, close to the plants. This is where I target my sprinkling of the fertilizer. Never saw any sign it damaged the roots. In fact, I want it to reach the roots before the wind blows it away. Tomatoes and peppers actually sit in a shallow depression on top of a slightly raised mound. The depression is the size of the cage. On these, I generally sort of toss a measured amount over the entire area within the cage.

It sounds like what you want to do is transfer files from one PC to another. Is that right? If so, do the PCs have network cards and do you have a router? The fastest way to do it is to set up a network, enable sharing on one PC, then copy files from that PC to the other one. If your PCs have network cards, but you don't have a router, you can still do it using a special kind of network cable called a crossover cable, but it takes a little more configuring. Another option is to get something like the Tornado. I bought one of these on sale for my dad because it was easier than walking him through the networking process. I got it for $19.99, though. I'm not sure I would have paid $49.95 for it. If you don't have an external drive for backing up, this is your excuse to get one and save yourself grief down the road. Get an external drive, connect it to the old PC and back it up. Then safely remove it, connect it to the new PC and copy the files to the new PC.

Yes, a large table is needed, like the one I show in the image I posted above. My understanding is that @sans007 needs to occasionally seat 10-12 people in a way that will also allow 4-5 people to feel comfortable. There’s no way to do that by just addressing the table, you have to address the seating. The double banquette does this in a way that doesn’t require 6 or 7 chairs to line the walls of the space. Unfortunately, the OP’s space is too shallow for this type of arrangement. A U shaped bench seat would fit better. I have no idea how she fit a table that seats 12 in that space. She is a magician.

Of course, anyone reading this has to remember that all 19 people writing to BBB are unhappy. The BBB link cites 88 complaints. You don't know CR's survey results -- because you don't subscribe -- but comment anyway. Why (rhetorical)? I asked if you would provide CR's data on Dacor because I do not have access to CR, and you frequently cite CR on this forum. It seemed like a straightforward request to you. As you said, BBB is only showing unhappy Dacor customers. As I said, perhaps I will be surprised by CR's rating of Dacor. I do not understand your reply to that request. Edited to add: I see that on another Houzz thread about Dacor ranges and fridges, @wdccruise commented: "The Dacor DR30G range achieved a score of 60 (out of 100) and a predicted reliability of "Poor" in CR's testing." You made a point above that quality differs in a manufacturer among the types of appliances it makes. It would be good to know if CR gives a much higher score for Dacor's fridges than the 60/Poor you cited for the range. But Dacor's/Samsung's customer service will be the same regardless of type of appliance.
